Looking forward to seeing you all at the session, from noon to 2pm this Sunday, at the Tranzac Club. As usual, a small donation that goes directly to the Tranzac is suggested but not mandatory.
A little word about the traffic: the intersection of Spadina and Bloor Street West is under heavy construction and is likely to be closed to drivers, and possibly to pedestrians as well, according to a CBC article.
If you are coming by TTC, do yourself a favour and check the service alerts page. What we do know:
- from the west end, get off at the Walmer Road exit (stairs only, get on the last car of the eastbound train).
- from the east end, subway service on Line 2 between St George and Broadview stations will start at 11 a.m. for planned track work. Shuttle buses will operate from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. For you, the Walmer Road exit is the first car of the westbound train.
- from the south: take the Bus, Bus, Spadina Bus! (streetcars are AWOL due to construction, so it’s a throwback to the 1980s, I’m afraid).
