A quick reminder about our upcoming session, from noon to 2 pm at the Tranzac Club this coming Sunday.
As happens every year during our November session, the annual Santa Clause Parade will make our life exciting this weekend, so pack your patience and your Seasonal Cheer. Also, please remember to plan ahead in case you have to take Evasive Manoeuvres.
- If you are planning on driving, good luck.
- If you are taking the subway, we have found that you can get on the correct (south) side of Bloor Street in one of two ways: getting off at the Museum subway station and walking along the south side of Bloor to Spadina, or by going to the Spadina station and taking the 510 streetcar one stop south to Sussex Avenue. From there, walk along Sussex to Brunswick and head north.
The 188th parade itself starts at Christie Pits around 12:30 p.m. It may be possible to cross the street before the session but, because of our shorter session length, getting back could be a challenge. Of course, we could always stay at the Club and listen to live music… just sayin’.
Remember, too, that the Tranzac is still enacting a COVID policy by requiring masks indoors to help protect each other, our families and communities from the Pandemic, the Flu, RSV, and all the other nasty invisible creatures plotting our collective destruction this month.
