A quick reminder that the  APRIL session is cancelled due to a conflict with the club’s annual Girls Rock Camp for adult women (and other non-binary people) .

But here is some news that may raise your now-flagging spirits: Peter and Ann-Marie are hosting a house concert  for LATOCQ!

Wordmark for LATOQUE: The letters LA are in red, TO are in light blue, and QC are in the blue of the Quebec flag's fleurs-de-lys.

The band features Claude Méthé (Québécois fiddler) and  David Greely (Louisiana fiddle) and Dana Whittle (guitar). Billed as “A trip inside two French traditions – from Louisiana to Québec – on fiddle and in song”, you can find more information about them, including audio and video clips, on the LATOQC website.

For tickets, speak to Peter or Ann-Marie. But do it soon: the limited seating is selling quickly.

Location: Bloor and Ossington area
Time: Doors Open at 7:30, concert starts at 8:00

As an extra treat, there will also be workshops the next day, Saturday, May 26. The exact time and location is still to be determined, but we do know that there is a maximum of  15 participants per workshop. So if you are interested, please contact Peter and Ann-Marie as soon as you can.

Happy May (spring will come!),

Rob and Donna
